A late 18th century Dutch brass bound kingwood necessaire, with gilt brass mounts, the lid opening to reveal an internal mirror, a pair of gilt glass scent bottles, scent flask and manicure tools, width 8.5in. height 4.75in.

Overall in clean restored condition, the lid slightly ill fitting, interior with original now faded and stained fabric lining, missing a thimble and a manicure tool, scent bottles with minor rubbing to the gilding.
