A late 17th century oak chest, of two short and three long drawers, with geometric fronts and bracket feet, W.3ft 2.5in.

Top is made in 3 sections, these hav shrunk slightly and there is a gap and a repair patch of wood approx 5ins x 3ins to right side of top. Minor cracks/scuffs etc allover as expected. Typical shrinkage splits to right side panel, handles are later, drawer locks are mising. Overall average condition.
