Condition:
Dial with light craquelure, not serious; dial believed to be metal, not wood; not repainted and with fine craquelure; glass and hands good; the frame’s drop-door with lifted and missing sections - attention needed; box-back good although one of the four securing pegs missing. Movement and plates appear fresh and bright; no missing parts noted but movement does not have a key. Movement believed to be associated with some unexplained screwholes; has been wound and appears to be working over four hours, but not guaranteed. Age late 18th century. New pillars have been attached to the rear of the dial.
