A large Japanese Satsuma vase and stand, by Kinkozan, Meiji period, well painted with a budgerigar perched by a basket of peonies, the reverse with horse riders in a snowy landscape, modelled with a pair of gilt cord tied ring handles, signed to one side, on a separate pierced stand, 58cm high, base of vase restored

Condition:
The base of the vase has been heavily restored, one of the handles has been detached and re attached, an area of the rim has been restored as well as the upper rim of the stand. One of the ‘flower’ mounts has been chipped and has a firing crack running through it. Wear and scratches throughout.
