A large Japanese Satsuma model of boy riding on a buffalo, signed Hozan, Meiji period, the boy wearing a straw hat on his back and in elaborately gilded clothing, holding a sickle in his left hand, the buffalo standing four square on a rock work base, gilt seal script mark above, gilt and iron red two character seal mark ‘Hozan’ , 29cm across, 25cm high, buffalo horns restored
