There is fine crazing to the glaze all over, there are typical losses to the leaves and flowers on Bacchus and Ariadne, the figure of Bacchus is lacking a section of his left foot and there is a firing crack visible on the base beneath him, the figure of Ariadne is lacking a large section of her right arm and the fingers on her left hand and the adjoining handle and part of the neck of the ewer beside her, there are few glaze losses on exposed edges, some slight staining at the back of the base and large firing cracks only visible from the underside of the base.
