A large Edwardian Ayres type rocking horse on a turned safety frame, length 160cm, height 110cm

Condition:
The paint to the horse looks largely original and untouched with some flaking to the paint in areas. The beech trestle base has some occasional wormholes particularly to the turned uprights. A little wobbly on the base. I have observed a couple of small worm holes also to the hooves of the horse at the join to the rail. Tack looks largely original as well horse hair tail possibly replaced.
