A large Chinese hardwood bench, late 19th / early 20th century, the back and frieze carved with foliate scrolls, on front legs carved with grotesque masks, with cabriole scrolled feet, L.224cm

Re-polished in the 1980s. The joints are loose and wobbily back to front. There are fine cracks to the back panel, seat and all four legs.
