A large Chinese famille rose ‘beasts’ vase, mid 19th century, well painted with deer, tigers, butterflies, pheasants, dragons, Buddhist lions and other mythical beasts, the neck painted with two dragon roundels, applied with gilt dragons, butterfly and flower borders, 59.5cm high, one handle lacking

Condition:
One of the handles is lacking and there are some other small losses to the Dragon sprigs on the shoulder. Typical minor scratches and glaze imperfections, small firing fault to the foot, otherwise in good condition.
