A large Chinese 'deer' enamelled porcelain vase, Republic period, painted with deer amid rockwork and pine trees with the figure of a monkey looking down upon them from the treetops, with a calligraphic inscription to the neck, lion-dog mask ring handles, 50.5cm.

There is some wear to the gilding on the lion mask ring handles. The foot is slightly wobbly when sat on a flat surface otherwise in good condition.
