A large Chinese dark stained softwood altar table, the ends carved with stylised scrollwork panels, width 9ft 9in.

Front top edge of the table has a number of surface scuffs and rub marks, top of the table in general has a number of splits, dents and ring marks, top edges of the scroll ends show rubbing as if it has been stacked upside down at one point, overall the colour of the top is a dark dull brown, underside of the table is a lighter reddish tone, signs of wear from rubbing and polishing over the years but essentially all in good order. Both plinth feet look to be later.
