A large Chinese blue and white ovoid jar, Kangxi period, painted with the figures of ladies on city walls and amid gardens, with brocade pattern borders, ribbon tied shell and double circle mark to base, associated cover, 37.5cm, restored

Modern restoration of high quality to the exterior, on the interior of the jar it can be seen that a large section of the shoulder has been broken and restored and a long hairline crack extending from the shoulder down more than half way has been hidden on the exterior, the cover although of Kangxi period does not match the jar itself and has also been restored.
