of compressed ovoid form, the exterior carved with a band of alternating lotus flowers and leaves above a band of lotus petals, under a sea green glaze, the thick unglazed foot burnt orange around the edges,

Condition:
Scratching and scuffing to the glaze consistent with age and use. The short neck has been cut off and ground down but the basic form of the jar is present.
