A large Chinese Dehua blanc de chine figure of Guanyin, Republic period, He Chaozong mark within a double gourd, holding a sceptre in left hand, seated on a throne with four horse supports and a lotus petalled plinth, impressed maker’s mark, 45cm high, crack and chip to base

Condition:
There is a crack extending vertically up through the base just below the figure on both sides. There is a large splinter chip to the front left corner of the base. There are typical firing imperfections including small firing cracks and noticeable bubbling to the glaze in the folds of the drapery.
