A large Chinese Canton-decorated celadon ground baluster vase, Daoguang period (1821-50), one side painted in underglaze blue and white slip, with the figure of Shou Lao and four boys amid flowers and rockwork, 58.5cm

The vase has some over-enamelled grey matt patches to each side of the neck in manufacture, occasional minor scratches and wear to the gilding otherwise generally in good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
