A group of three gilt metal etuis and a parcel gilt silver and ivory pendant notebook, cover various dates, comprising two quiver form etuis, one cast with flowery scrolls, the with figures inhabiting the scrolls and hung on a similarly decorated chatelaine, English c.1760, and another plain polished example with engraved formal ornament, the interior complete with steel, gilt metal and ivory implements, English c.1735; the notebook cover cast with masks and foliage below a monogram, ivory slips, early 20th century, largest 7.25in.

Notecase with some wear to the gilding particularly on the main raised panels, holds three ivory leaves, two of which have become detached from the hinge
Asymmetrical scroll etui does not retain any of the original fittings, light wear to the gilding
Etui with chatelaine attachment holds possibly original, certainly old steel scissors and an ivory flat tool, is therefore missing three items
Last etui has a gold handled pencil which has broken off and is ill-fitting, a gold coloured needle which has an old repair to the top, a pair of oxidised steel scissors, a flattened bi-fold ivory note, a steel bladed gold handled folding knife, a two prong fork and a spoon. All of the implements fit the case well but for the pencil which may not be original.
