Miniature at 12 o'clock - perhaps a little rubbing between 3 and 4 in the background and some insect dirt but otherwise looks to be in good order

Central miniature a little faded with some undulation of the ivory showing, perhaps some discolouration above his head, insect dirt looks to be on the glass not the work itself.

3 o'clock - again some insect dirt and possibly two tiny scuffs or scratches to the right side but otherwise good

5 o'clock - possibly somewhat faded with a slight curve to the ivory, some dirt on the glass otherwise good.

7 o'clock - very faded with much of the original details now lost

9 o'clock - looks to be some scuffing or loss to the red of the jacket and further small losses near 6 o'clock but overall good.

All housed in an oval giltwood and gesso frame which is now cracking around the edges, we have not removed them from this frame, please see our additional photographs.

Lower left portrait miniature is faded. Central arched miniature, the ivory leaf is warped. Gilt frame is split and the brown leather faded.
