A group of Japanese Satsuma pottery tea wares, by Kinkozan, Meiji period, comprising a matching teapot, 12.5cm high, a covered sugar pot and a milk jug, each finely painted with birds amid foliage within a faux bamboo cartouche and gilt-decorated cobalt blue borders, gilt kanji four character and impressed seal script marks, and four matching cups and saucers painted with figures, the interior of the cups with vessels and flowers, gilt three character marks, Saucers 15.2cm

One cup chip to inside edge of neckrim, approx. 8 x 3mm; covered sugar bowl - cover repaired with seven rivets; all others good. Gilding largely very good.
