Green leather on canvas; Royal Arms in good condition; swing handle has been re-attached and has a repaired split at centre of strap; brass bosses lacking at the vertical leather join; leather band around base is a recent replacement. If for fire use, presumably for fire sand, not water. Tin liner fits well although with rust to interior surface. Age Victorian.
