A good pair of George II silver card trays by George Wickes, of shaped circular form, with pierced fruiting vine, Bacchus mask and shell borders, on four leaf scroll feet, London, 1742, 21cm, 25oz.

Both have numerous minor surface scratches to the tops and some lesser to the bases. One slightly wobbles on a flat surface. Some slight wear to the raised parts of the deoration in places, otherwise the overall condition is good, commensurate with age and some use. Hallmarks clear, but with some slight rubbing to both sets.
