A good pair of Flight, Barr & Barr spill vases, c.1825, each finely painted with a young courting couple and probably the same couple in old age, each seated in a landscape withing gilt 'seaweed' borders, square bases, each with inscribed marks to the base and titles 'seats beneath the shade' and 'that only sheltered thefts of harmless love', 9cm high

In excellent condition with very good gilding, one with a minute mark to the edge of the plinth base, possibly a gilt flake.
