Provenance - receipt for Millhouse, Petworth, 17th July 1986. 22cm high
£700-1,000

Condition:
Both with typical minor firing cracks and glaze imperfections. There is evidence they may once have been fitted with gilt metal candle arms slotting in at the back, now lacking. The figure of a boy has a reglued section of the tree. The figure of a girl has high-quality restoration to the cover of the basket and to a section of the branch of the tree, otherwise in good condition.
