A good late 18th century French gold, simulated pearl and white and blue enamel snuff box by Augustin-Andre Heguin, Paris, 1789, of octagonal form, each panel decorated with blue guilloche enamel, white enamel and simulated pearl decoration with gilt foliate and star motifs, charge mark for Jean-Francois Kalendrin, 8.5cm.

The blue enamel on the top of the lid has a few very minor scratches. There is some loss/damage to the blue enamel to the side angles of the lid. More damage is visible to the enamel down the side angles including loss to the simulated pearls and also similar damge/loss along the base rims including the white enamel. Interior clean. Marks visible but with some rubbing.
