A good Victorian Elkington & Co silver four piece tea and coffee service, of pear form and embossed and chased with figures in various pursuits relating to the individual use of each piece, i.e. teapot with chinoiserie scene, coffee pot with Arabic scene etc. on scroll feet, with figural finial and engraved armorial, George Richards Elkington, London, 1868, gross 81.4 oz.

Coffee pot- There is a small group of minor small minor knocks/dents to the base by one foot. There is a small ding to the right of the engraved crest in the cente of the pot. Very slight wear to the decoration in parts, commensurate with age and use. Condition otherwise good. Hallmarks clear.
Teapot- There are two dents to the base near the hallmarks. There is a slight indentation near to the crest in the centre of the pot. Small scratch also to this area. Decoration still very crisp, some raised parts have very slight signs of wear, but overall nice clean condition. Hallmarks clear.
Sugar bowl- Three very small pinholes within the decoration. Some very slight wear to the raised parts of the decoration but again, generally still crisp. Overall condition is otherwise good. Hallmarks clear.
Cream jug- A couple of small dents to the base near the hallmarks. Again, perhaps some very slight wear to the raised parts of the decoration, commensurate with age and use, but again generally nice and crisp. Hallmarks clear.
