A good George IV silver two handled presentation cup and cover, by Samuel Hennell?, inscribed "Louth Coursing Meeting, March, 1827", of campana shape, with leaf and fruit decoration and ornate twin detailed eagle handles, the cover with similar decoration and seated greyhound finial, London, 1827, height 36cm, 71 oz.

One wing appears to have been very slightly pushed into the main body. One other wing appears to have been professionally repaired (silver solder) where it joins the body of the bird. Therer are a few minor dings visible on the interior of the main body. Hallmarks clear.
