Lot 117 , A good American sterling silver cocktail shaker

A good American sterling silver cocktail shaker, decorated with Viking inspired motifs and named 'Capronia' to the rim, with dolphin finial, cork fitted stopper and tapered cylindrical body with two dragon headed pouring spouts, encircled with bossed shields and over the main body decorated with fish amongst waves, marked to the base and inscribed 4 1/2 pints, height 37cm, 49oz without stopper.

Condition:
Looks to be in very good condition but for the need of a very light clean, stopper has a gross weight of 170 grams, and sit slightly loosely in the lid due to the drying out of the cork, main body in very good condition, heads of the dragons rotate and look to be made for pouring, underside stamped Sterling silver B80 4 1/2 pints.
