A gold (stamped 24k) and solitaire oval cut Ceylon sapphire set ring, maker's W. Bros, the stone measuring approximately 12.5mm by 9.8mm, with a depth of 8.4mm, size N, gross 6.8 grams.

There are a couple of small nibbles to the girdle of the sapphire otherwise the ring and stone are in good order.

Some mninor nicks and scratches to the shank and setting, commensurate with age and some use. There are a couple of tiny nicks to the table facet edge of the sapphire and some signs of very minor wear to the girdle in places.
