A Tibetan gilt bronze seated figure of Green Tara, seated on a double lotus throne, height 21.5cm

Provenance: The vendor inherited this bronze figure from their grandfather's estate in 1993 who is believed to have owned it for some decades previous to this date.

There is occasional minor dents and small scratches all over the figure consistent with age and use including some wear to the gilding, around the head rest, the floral buds to each side of the figure and her arms and hand, the foot and tendril projecting outward from the base and some of the high points from the back and around the base, there is also wear around the foot consistent with age, possible a couple of the finials on the headrest have been bent slightly otherwise in good condition with no restoration.
