A gentleman's chrome cased Lemania WWW British military 'Dirty Dozen' manual wind wrist watch, circa 1945, with black Arabic dial and subsidiary seconds, fitted with the rare M.O.D Promethium dial, movement c.27A, case diameter 37mm, the case back inscribed Q7738 with broad arrow W.W.W. 1724 1634', no strap.

Condition:
A brass? colour showing through beneath the chrome to the case sides and lugs in places. Numerous tiny nicks and scratches to the case sides and back. A couple of deeper scratches to the case back close to one of the opening grooves. Some degradation to the luminescent material on the hands. Watch ticks when wound and the hands adjust.
