A framed needlework sampler, dated August 30th 1832 by Elizabeth Taylor. Worked with large verse, with panel beneath of spot motifs a dog and lion, two crowns and hearts, butterfly, bee bird in a tree and flower in a vase, with a floral border.. All worked in fine thread and stitching. 30.5cm wide x 40.5cm high.
Condition - slight staining to slip beneath border. One hole between lion and central floral motif.
