A framed 1828 cross stitch sampler dated 1828 by E Parry aged 11years. Embroidered in reds, greens and blues with religious verse and a central motif of a building, tree, flowers and sheep, above panel of spot motifs of vases of flowers. Surrounded by a wide floral border. sampler 28cm wide x 30cm high.
Condition - there are three green thread has faded and the backing to the verse and other areas has become darker. But there is no moth, or damage to the embroidery or backing.
