A fine ruby and diamond ring, circa 1900, of cluster design, set with a circular-cut ruby weighing approximately 1.00 carat, to a border and shoulders set with circular-cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.60 carats, mounted in gold, size N, stamped SCCLd and 18CT
A verbal report from GCS states that the ruby is of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, Mogok region, with no indications of heat treatment

Very beautiful ruby with rich purplish red colour, measuring approximately 6.2 x 6.2 x 3.5mm, calculated weight approximately 0.90-1.10 carats (very approximate due to old cut), minor surface wear, some minor polished out chips to pavilion, overall in good condition. Diamonds bright and lively. Overall a very attractive ring in good, wearable condition, gross weight approximately 3 grams.
