A fine Japanese gold damascened iron box and cover, Meiji period, cast in the form of Fukurokuju with a crane, the base with eighteen character inscription and gilt four character seal mark, white metal lining 6.5cm across

There is some slight corrosion to the iron on top and some other small rust patches around the edge of the box and to the base otherwise in good condition.
