A fine Chinese white jade 'twin-fish' bowl, Qianlong period (1736-95), the shallow bowl with spreading foot and slightly flaring rim, the interior carved in relief with a pair of fish in mirror image, the exterior with raised band of vertical fins, the stone of good even tone with some small pale russet inclusions, 9.9cm diameter, wood stand, rim nick and short hairline

Condition:
There is a tiny neck to the edge of the rim with a 10 mm associated hairline crack, the opposing side has a fine 15 mm hairline crack, the edge of the foot has a tiny neck which can be felt with a thumb now, otherwise in good condition.
