A fine Chinese pale celadon jade reticulated box and cover, 18th century,
finely carved and pierced with mallow flowers and leaves, the cover of good even tone, the base with some pale russet and white inclusions,

Condition:
There are a few minute nicks to the edge of the base of the box and to the cover of the box, typical minor inclusions and veining to the stone most visible on the base, otherwise in good condition. Provenance: The jade was collected by the current owner's father who worked in the Far East, on his death it was left to the current owner's mother.
