A collection of over 60 handwritten, job application letters relating to the Grand Hotel, Brighton. 1904. The collection includes 60 handwritten letters in envelopes (stamped and post marked), 5 empty envelopes and 6 further letters without envelopes. Many are applications for the post of Lady Book keeper at the Grand Hotel "as advertised in the Telegraph". Also applications for Bar attendant and other posts. Some include references. Found during the post bomb repairs (1984) along with some chandelier fragments that were rescued.
