A cased pair of early 19th century steel pocket pistols, with percussion locks, folding triggers and twist off cylindrical barrels, in case bearing J. Blissett label with accessories, pistols 6.5in., case 10.5in.

Mahogany case has old splits, scratches and various scuffs throughout commensurate with age, lid has to be pushed down in order for the lock to work and hold the clasp shut, lock has clearly seen some attention over the years and the key has been gilded, internally baize work looks later replaced but is also faded down, label has been re-applied, powder flask good not named, other accessories look good, pistols both in good clean condition, one has very small amounts of the woodwork missing near where it meets the boxlock on one side, both actions working, pistols are not named but do have small stamp marks.
