All sides are brass.
Trunk is missing the brass mounts to the front left and back right corners. Some of the other brass mounts have come away slightly from the trunk in places. There is a split along the grain to the front right corner of the lid. Signs of there having been a lock and hasp to the left of the keyhole. Two open splits along the grain to the base of the trunk. Some other typical minor signs of wear consistent with age and use.
