A William and Mary oyster veneered toilet box, the rising lid enclosing a quilted interior with mirror frame and two canisters over a base drawer, W.1ft 11in.

Slight warping to the top which has a crack running from left to right and further old cracking to the veneers running back towards the right corner, and also finer scratching and splitting elsewhere, some of the moulding to the lid is coming loose with the front left corner and a small section to the left side missing, interior has old but not original quilted satin lining along with a glazed dried flower panel and two original square caskets, lock looks later, no key, sides a little more faded than the top most notably the right hand side, base drawer runs smoothly with matching later quilted interior, back of the casket has a differing veneer with divided vertical panels rather than oysters, one or two small losses to the veneering to the foot along with a small lost piece of veneer to the top right corner of the base drawer.
