A William IV silver rounded rectangular inkstand, KG & Co (probably Kirkby, Gregory & Co) with scroll handles, scrolling border and later engraved inscription to the base, with two mounted glass wells and taperstick, Sheffield, 1831, 27.6cm over handles, stand 27 oz.

The stand is slightly wobbly on a flat surface otherwise in good condition. Engraved crest on taperstick holder. Some minor chips around the girdle of both wells. All hallmarks on all pieces match and are clear except the snuffer which is unmarked and may not be original. There are some dents to the lower inner rim of the taperstick. Wells appear to be original, but cannot guarantee.
