A William IV brass mounted rosewood buffet cabinet, with brass three quarter gallery and beaded shelves, raised on corinthian columns with brass trellis sides and a two door cupboard to the base, on lion's paw feet, width 140cm, depth 55cm, height 118cm

Condition:
A handsome piece of furniture of good rich reddish brown rosewood tone but a little dusty and neglected, ormolu mounts all oxidised, small loss and dent to the back left corner of the frieze, although a three quarter gallery is fitted the piece is designed to stand in the round and is fully finished to the back, with matching beading, moulding and feet, although the back feet are turned outwards and may once of pointed backwards, side columns a little scuffed, base cupboard with one corner scroll motif of the moulding missing, original lock but no key, lower right hinge is broken with some damage to the veneers and part of the hinge retained inside the cupboard, some knocks and dents to the feet.
