A Victorian silver shaped rectangular table snuff box by Edward Smith, with all over engraved scroll decoration and lid and base with inscription and stately home scene respectively, Birmingham, 1857, 8.7cm, 202 grams.

Inscription reads " St Clement Danes. This snuff box together with a service of plate value 120 guineas is presented to Mr. Churchwarden Hale of the great esteem in which he is held by his fellow parishoners, May 1871?".
There is some slight wear to the engraved decoration in general commensurate with age and use, otherwise in good condition. Hallmarks clear.
