A Victorian silver mounted glass claret jug by W & G Sissons, of tapering cylindrical form, with wheel cut engraved holly leaf bands and repousse mounts with pierced thumbpiece, Sheffield, 1864, 11.5in.

Therer is either two sall repairs to the beaded silver band around the middle of the body, or it is ust crudely made as there are two visible seams and some solder. There is a small ding on the interior of the lid. The overall condition is otherwise good. Marks clear.
