A Victorian silver mounted blond tortoiseshell tea caddy of octagonal form with loop handle and scrollwork decoration, the interior with single lid and later silver caddy spoon, 11.5cm wide, 8cm deep, 9cm high

Condition:
Slightly faded condition and will benefit from the application of baby oil to improve the lustre and a polish to the silver which is a little rubbed, one small maker's mark on the silver mount to the left end but apparently not hallmarked, original lock fitted but no key. Internal lid with a short section of veneer missing to one side, interior with remnants of foiling.
