There is a small dent to the underside of the belly close to the base of the handle, otherwise the piece is in good condition with clear hallmarks and no visible sign of a removal/erasure.

This is sterling 925 standard. All English hall marked silver is Sterling 925 standard or above. The lion-passant mark guarentees that a piece of English silver is sterling silver.
