A Victorian part canteen of silver double struck Old English beaded pattern cutlery by George Adams, comprising seventy eight items, with engraved monogram, London, 1870/71, weighable silver 147.5oz, housed in an oak canteen, together with twenty two ivorine handled steel knives.

12 tableforks, 12 dessert forks, butter knife, 12 dessert spoons, 12 teaspoons, 4 condiment spoons, a pair of sugar tongs, 12 dessert knives(loaded), soup ladle, 6 table spoons, pair of basting spoons, pair of fish servers and pair of sauce ladles. Signs of general use, including nicks and scratches, commensurate with age and some use. Dents to some of the dessert spoon bowls. Some wear to the spoon tips in places. Wear to fork tines in places. Hallmarks clear. Part of the base of the box has come away/broken and needs repairing.
