A Victorian opal and diamond brooch/pendant, mid-19th century of foliate scroll design, suspending three pendants en pampille, set with cushion-shaped and rose-cut diamonds totalling approximately 3.50 carats, centring on a pear-shaped cabochon opal measuring approximately 11 x 7.8mm, mounted in silver and gold, length 8cm including bail, lower section detachable, opal possibly later, fitted case

Condition:
A very attractive example in good condition, opal possibly a later replacement, but nicely chosen and well-set, with attractive transparency and a good, varied play of colour.
