A Victorian mahogany 11 inch terrestrial globe, with brass mounts and calendar / zodiac to the outer ring, apparently unsigned, raised on acanthus carved tripod base, fitted brass castors, diameter 40cm, height 84cm

Condition:
A number of old repairs to damage to the main body of the globe, mostly now infilled with plain paint otherwise equally discoloured, some small losses to the printed outer ring, brass work oxidised but working with the globe tilting and rotating evenly, underframe of a rich reddish tone, castors with traces of white paint.
