A Victorian large silver gilt vinaigrette with inset agate hinged cover, by John Harris, of rectangular form, with extensive engraved foliate scroll decoration and pierced foliate grille, London, 1854, 71mm by 48mm.

Condition:
The gilding has worn away in places, particularly visible on the base. There is a chip/scratch to the agate and a few smaller scratches elsewhere. All hallmarks clear. Interior needs a clean as there is dirt and rust? spots visible.
