A Victorian gold, polychrome enamel and bloodstone cameo bar brooch, in the manner of Giuliano, with curved terminals and Holbeinesque style enamel decoration, the central bloodstone cameo carved with the bust of a Roman Centurion to sinister, within a cannetile work border, in original Connell, Cheapside box, approx. 2.5in.

Bloodstone bust- There is a tiny chip to the top of the visor and a couple of very minor nicks to the base of the bust. The overall condition is otherwise good, with no visible damage to the enamel. Unmarked. Box quite scuffed on the outside, with some dirt marks on the inside, but otherwise sound.
